My Robotz " Maid" I wish

This is a little card I made yesterday. I thought I would love this cartridge but geez there are a million little pieces to this  robot. I think this is a really cute idea, but the next time I make a robot I am going to leave off unnecessary pieces I think.

This is from the Robotz Cartridge. She was cut at 3" along with her "many" parts. I added google eyes so she could see the dust better! The Paper is all DCWV.  I also inked the edges of all the papers. This is not my favorite card. It is the first I have made with this cartridge, so I hope I get better at it. So sorry the picture is not better.  Thank you for looking anyway. I think I really dislike this card!!!!!!!! I think I inked to much. Help, you guys tell me where my boo boo is. I didn't feel good yesterday, I'm afraid it shows. Hugs to all of you, I adore my followers. Hugs, Pam

  1. Aw Pam she's cute! You should never try forcing a card if you don't feel good- it makes it unfun and too much like work :) I think you card looks nice, you just weren't in the mood to make it which is why you dislike it :)Amy

  4. I think this card is great! I'm not sure that I would change anything about it... You did such a good job, especially considering that it had a million little pieces! :)

  6. I think you did a fabulous job on the card. I totally understand about that cartridge though. I gave mine away shortly after attempting to use it just a few times.

  9. Pam... This card really made me smile -- Sure, I love the concept of a robot maid!! I'm not sure why you don't like the card -- I think it's adorable - especially with the googly eyes - (so unless I'm not seeing something!)...

I think it can be hard to make something I love when I'm not feeling well (and I definitely wouldn't attempt the many robot pieces if I wasn't feeling well!!). When I got this cartridge, I really wanted to love it too... And I do... But only for the AWESOME FONT!! Hahaha - No more robot cutting for me (although the idea of adding googly eyes is tempting for me)!!

Keep creating, sweet Pam... We ALL love to see what you're making!! :)

    BIG hugs...

  11. My dear Pam, I hope you're feeling better tonight! I really don't think there's anything wrong with this card... I think you were just seeing it through tired, weary eyes. :o) She's adorable, as are your paper choices! Inking is gorgeous, so I don't really think there is such a thing as too much ink. ;) The googly eyes are a great accent, too. Smile, my friend! :o) Thanks for sharing another lovely creation. :o)

    Hugs and blessings! :o)

  12. Pam, This robot card is cute! I wanted to get the robotz cartridge. I looked at the digital handbook on line and was a bit intimidated by all the little pieces. But looking at how cute this card turned out I may have to rethink that! Love your blog!
