Update for all my friends.

This is a short post, well not so short, to let you all know what is going on with me. I still have about 3 weeks before the room is done. They are coming around the 15th to put in the carpet. So shortly after that the room will be done, finally. My daughter has been bringing Kyce over a lot so his Nanny can see him. He is growing but still just now gaining back his birth weight. He is a very good baby. He is not at all a fussy baby. When he cries it's because he has  a reason, wants his diaper changed or he's hungry. He sleeps about 7 hours at night, can't ask for much more. He is a wonderful baby boy!!

                                                            His big sister!

His big brother!

Now the next thing is I am having a lot of sleeping problems, so I have to have a sleep study. It is scheduled for Oct. 5th.  I take a bunch of meds plus pretty strong pain meds, so I think that may have something to do with it. I can not stay in one position all night or I would be unable to move the next day. So I wake up several times a night, therefore I sleep badly. It's a vicious circle! Later today when my hubby gets home I have to go get blood drawn. Yuck!!!

I do have a card to post but it will probably be a couple of days. I have come to realize I am not up to posting every day obviously! So I will do what I can, and I hope that's OK with all of you. I also have some things put together for a giveaway for all of you, that I will be posting about in a few days.

I really want you all to know how much you all mean to me:) You bring joy into my life, I appreciate every one of you. There are days when I get so down and then I open my blog and one of you has come for a visit and left a wonderfully kind and sweet comment, and I remember, God is good and so is life!! And there are wonderful people in this world! You all are among those wonderful people. I am very lucky to be apart of this craft world. Thank you, thank you all so much :)))))

Hugs, Pam

  1. Hi Pam! Your grandchildren are just so cute! I am sure you enjoy their visits. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been sleeping or feeling well, and hope that the sleep study will help them help you and improve your health. Take care of yourself- crafting is supposed to be a stress reliever not inducer! While we look forward to seeing your creations, we certainly understand your need to take it easy. Thinking and praying for you! :)Amy

  10. Hi Pam!

{{Big hugs}}! I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling well also. It sounds like you are having a tough time lately too. I know all too well how that goes about sleeping and not being able to get that needed rest. I would love to hear how this sleep study goes and I do hope they can help you improve ways to get a good night sleep. I know first hand how frustrating it gets waking up numerous times at night and then being drained the next day.

Now, no worries for you about doing projects. Many of us, myself included, consider you a friend and won't be going anywhere! Thank you for sending comfort my way too Pam! I am feeling better as far as the shoulder issuse goes. The MRI showed the cervical spine is getting worse, really no suprise there though, I kind of knew that, but the jury is still out on the shoulder and what that "stuff" was that they extracted. I decided I'm not going to worry about it, I'll let them figure it out. For now I feel better and am slowly getting back into the swing of things. And so will you Pam, I will keep you in my prayers friend! Oh, and thank you for the recent pictures...I can't believe how alert and bright eyed little Kyce is already! What a cutie patootie! :)

  14. Pam, this post is just heartbreaking to me to hear what you are going through! I am just the same way... I do not sleep much at night because of pain. I went through a month long live in program to learn to manage pain and try and control it... I started off doing puzzles, anything to keep my mind busy. I love to scrap, knit, crochet, in general craft. I found the world of blogging and haven't looked back! I have met so many wonderful people who I share so much in common and I get alot of wonderful inspiration for my scrapping as well. It truly has opened up a whole new world to me and when I am really hurting or can't sleep it really helps me to keep my mind busy and when you say you get messages that make you smile, that made me smile because I truly know what you mean! Anyway didn't mean to go on so long, but I so identified with you! Your Grandkids are beautiful... I also have 3, the oldest just turned 18 (oh that dates me) the middle just became a teen at 13 and the youngest just turned 7 on the 5th of this month. Love them so much and they are my world! Nice to meet you Pam and hope this sleep study goes well, let us know!

  16. Oh Pam, all of your grandchildren are just absolutely ADORABLE!! You are so blessed! I love seeing the pictures of Kyce and watching him grow! He is so precious :)

I just returned yesterday from a two week vacation out west, so I apologize for not being around the last couple of weeks. I hoped to be able to stop by during the trip but wow, we were so busy (nine national parks!) and I was so tired at night. I scheduled several posts for my blog so it would look like I was home (didn't want to give any opportunistic thieves any ideas ;) I am back now and wanted to visit you as soon as possible to let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope the sleep study helps you out and you are able to rest better at night. This is the first post of yours I missed so I'm on to the next one...(sorry to inundate your inbox!!) I've missed you my sweet friend! Big HUGS!!

    Lisa :)
