Just another note of thanks to each of you who are so loyal and sweet to leave me messages. I am still improving, and each day is better. I went to the Dr. on the 15th. He said things were ok except I had really high blood pressure, so he put me on some meds for that. I go back to him in 2 months.
We are having all the kids over to the house on Friday for Christmas with them, and then Ray and I are going to Priest Lake till Monday. I will as promised post pictures when we get back.
I was going to post some pictures of some cards and rosettes I made but it seems a little late to do it now.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, be blessed my sweet friends. Know also how much I appreciate every one of you. Each of you have touched my life in a very special way:) I can hardly imagine my life without my blog friends in it. Every word you leave me lifts my heart and brightens my day!
Big big big hugs, Pam

I'm getting Better each day!
Just a note to all my dear and caring friends. I am doing better each day. I'm still pretty sore but that too is getting better. The hardest thing right now is I am not supposed to raise my left arm above my head, try putting your hair in a ponytail without raising your arms, not easy!! My loving hubby has been doing my hair for me, he is a wonderful guy. Whatever I need he is always there for me. I go on Thursday for my follow up visit to make sure the pacemaker is doing what it is supposed to be doing. But I can tell you it's doing something right because I feel a lot more normal.
We are spending Christmas out of town at a beautiful lake called Priest Lake. It's in Idaho, and probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. We went there for Valentines Day last year, but decided to go for Christmas this year. It's kinda expensive but so worth it! We rent their biggest cabin on the lake, with a fireplace and a view that just doesn't end. When we get back I'll post some pictures.
I have made some rosettes about 60 of them, thank you Susan!!!, for the grand kids to make ornaments with. I was pretty worn out after that. But I think they will be so pretty on their trees.
Well I am getting tired so I will close with this, Thank you every one of you that send me words of encouragement, and care. I love every one of you, and you all mean the world to me.
Big, big hugs, Pam

I have been in the hospital!
Hi guys!!
I am so sorry I haven't done my drawing yet or even let you all know what has gone on. As I told you all in my last post (Dec. 1) I had some DR. appointments.
Well I was put in the hospital Thursday after noon. With a heart problem! Apparently it was not working!! It came as a kick in the head! I was really afraid, not of dying, but of the unknown. God was so good though, He got me some really good heart doctors. They were really great, and gave me peace about what was going on.
Friday morning they put in a pacemaker. I must say other than being very very sore, I am felling a bit better. I am sure you all understand it may be a few more days before I pick a winner for my giveaway.
Please know all my dear friends I am going to be good. I can't use my left arm much for about 6 weeks, so I don't know how much crafting I will be doing, but hey I am alive though!!! Any and all prayers are greatly appreciated. I will be back as soon as I can with a winner, I promise:))
Big, big hugs, Pam

Come and Celebrate My Birthday with ME:))
My birthday is Nov. 14th. I want to have a birthday celebration with all of my wonderful, sweet, beautiful friends! For my birthday celebration this year, I am going to give a present to one of YOU!
Each one of you are such a big part of my life now. A celebration would not be complete without you all in it with me.
I bought my favorite Christmas cartridge. This has some of the cutest cuts on it. I love every one of them. It took me the whole year last year to get this. No one had it. Then one day I saw it on Walmart.com It was just luck I think. I ordered it and by the time I received it Christmas was over! But I have it this year, Yeah!!! I decided that this was what I wanted to give to one of you for my birthday. So I ordered it in August, so I would have it here for one of you!

I hope you will like this one as much as I do. Here it is:
Here's the back of the cartridge that shows the cute cuts!
Here are the guidelines for one of you to receive my birthday present for you.
- You must be a follower. Leave me a comment letting me know that you are. Be sure to leave a way to contact you.
- You can have another entry by posting the giveaway on your sidebar. Come back and leave another comment telling me you did that.
- You can have a third entry by telling others about my celebration in a blog post on your blog. Then come and leave another comment telling me you did that.
- Finally you can have a forth entry by grabbing my button and posting it on your blog. Come back and leave a comment telling me you did that. If you already have my button , just leave a comment letting me know.
That's it. I hope you all come and join me for my Birthday. I am going to let this run the whole month, so it will close at midnight Nov. 30/ 2011. I will get a lucky winner from random.org between Dec. 1- Dec. 4, and post the winner by Dec. 5. Because postage is so high I must limit the winner to the US. But I want all of my friends from other countries to know how much I adore them. Everyone of you are very special to me.
My biggest hugs to each and every one of you, Pam

Another Halloween card!
This is a new Halloween card. I have done a few this past week. Some are just cute, A couple I did with skulls, I don't think I like them though. I am not a person who likes spooky stuff. I don't watch gore, or spooky stuff on TV, or videos. So these cards are way out of my comfort zone. I do find the cute ones cute however. I also think even cards with witches and ghosts and even ghouls can be cute too.
Anyway here is the card and as usual I will post the challenges at the end of this post. Which I probably will do tomorrow, we are moving things into our new room today and tomorrow. But I thought I would put up the card now. I hope you all like it.
Please know how grateful I am to each and everyone of you that entered my giveaway. I will be doing random.org in a day or so, to find out which of my wonderful friends have won!!
So again here's the card.
Here are the challenges I am putting this card in this week.

Some pictures of Kyce!
My dear friend Lisa @A Mermaid's Crafts, has asked to see some new pictures of my brand new grandson Kyce. There are other pictures from when he was born on my blog. These are just a couple from this last week. He has really grown! He is over 9 lbs. He is a wonderful baby. He is starting to really smile now, and is just so darn sweet. He loves to cuddle, and be real close. Well enough of Nanny's rantings, here are his pictures especially for Lisa.
Isn't he awesome!!!!!

Link Up Love Party With K Andrew!!
It's time for another Link Up Love Party With K Andrew. The Link Up the Love Party is a wonderful way to meet new bloggers and find inspiration from some truly amazing crafters!Link Up Love Party: How it Works
- Link Up Party runs from Tuesday 10/18 to Tuesday 10/25.
- Grab the Getting Cricky blinky and post on your blog's sidebar
- Be a follower of Getting Cricky
- Create a new blog post that is titled Link Up Love Party with K Andrew. In your post, you must mention that the link up love party is a way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration, mention my blog, with a link back to Getting Cricky
- Post your favorite project that you've done in your blog for HALLOWEEN
- Copy and paste the link up code into your blog post so the Inlinkz will show up on your blog
- Spread the word so everyone can join in!
- You must visit, follow, and comment on the 5 people before you AND the 5 people after you in the Inlinkz. It would be fantastic if you would visit as many as you can--maybe everyone? If you are one of the first 5 then you will need to blog the ones before you and a few more after--as long as it's a minimum of 10 near you in the link up
- If you do not do the above your link will be deleted, because it's just not fair to those who work so hard linking up and showing love to the ones on the list. I have two moderators who will be checking this out to keep it awesome and fun!

Update for all my friends.
This is a short post, well not so short, to let you all know what is going on with me. I still have about 3 weeks before the room is done. They are coming around the 15th to put in the carpet. So shortly after that the room will be done, finally. My daughter has been bringing Kyce over a lot so his Nanny can see him. He is growing but still just now gaining back his birth weight. He is a very good baby. He is not at all a fussy baby. When he cries it's because he has a reason, wants his diaper changed or he's hungry. He sleeps about 7 hours at night, can't ask for much more. He is a wonderful baby boy!!
His big sister!
Now the next thing is I am having a lot of sleeping problems, so I have to have a sleep study. It is scheduled for Oct. 5th. I take a bunch of meds plus pretty strong pain meds, so I think that may have something to do with it. I can not stay in one position all night or I would be unable to move the next day. So I wake up several times a night, therefore I sleep badly. It's a vicious circle! Later today when my hubby gets home I have to go get blood drawn. Yuck!!!
I do have a card to post but it will probably be a couple of days. I have come to realize I am not up to posting every day obviously! So I will do what I can, and I hope that's OK with all of you. I also have some things put together for a giveaway for all of you, that I will be posting about in a few days.
I really want you all to know how much you all mean to me:) You bring joy into my life, I appreciate every one of you. There are days when I get so down and then I open my blog and one of you has come for a visit and left a wonderfully kind and sweet comment, and I remember, God is good and so is life!! And there are wonderful people in this world! You all are among those wonderful people. I am very lucky to be apart of this craft world. Thank you, thank you all so much :)))))
Hugs, Pam

Birthday Card
I made a birthday card in a step card fold. This was fun, I love this fold and it was really easy to do. I just needed to make something. It was a bit of a pain because our room isn't done yet! still! We have all the carpet ordered, now we have to wait for it to come in and then make an appointment for the install. It could be another 3 -4 weeks. All my craft stuff is in tubs all over the house, it's a real mess. But I got this card done so I am sharing with you. I'm not putting it in a challenge because I don't have time to look for a challenge.
I hope you guys like it. I like it! It was fun! Plus it might be awhile again before I have the stamina to pull everything out again. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate everyone of your comments. I also appreciate the fact that you even take the time to come by. Hugs, Pam

My remodel! There was Two rooms now there's One!! ((( NEW BABY COMING ))) Meet Kyce Michael!
Yeah! I just found out my daughter is going into labor! So we will have our new grandson "Kyce" soon!!
UPDATE**** She is about 3 minutes apart, they are breaking her water soon, so it shouldn't be to long after that!! (It's 2:45pm WA state time, on Thursday, 8/25/11)
UPDATE 2****It's 6:46 pm 8/25/2011 ((((( Kyce Michael is here!!)))) He weighs 6lbs. 13 oz. and is 19 inches long. Yeah:)))) A little more than 9 hours start to finish, not bad!
Meet Kyce Michael. This from my phone but you get the idea! Isn't he precious:) He is so sweet, and tiny! WE forget how small they are.
********************************
I thought you all might get a kick out of seeing some pictures from what we have been doing. This all takes a long time because my Hubby has a bad back, and with my back I am almost worthless. Except I did try to paint where I could reach from my chair! So I helped a little.
My grandson came over last week and painted the ceilings, and inside the closets, and anywhere high up. We still need to paint the closet doors. Finish some woodworking, and more painting of the new molding that will go around the whole floor and inside the closets.
Saturday we are going to order the new carpet. I am so excited to get that put in, it will be so pretty! Here's some pictures.
Here you can see where we tore out the wall between the two rooms. Lots of work, but kinda fun!!
In this picture you can see the finish molding on the wall we took out, we still have to do the other side.
In this picture you can see that there was once two separate rooms. Across the hall is another bedroom and a bathroom.

It will be great when this is all done. This is going to be our new bedroom upstairs. For the last year my husband has been in our old bedroom downstairs and I have been upstairs, because I can't go up and down the steps anymore. So now we can once again be together like we are supposed to be!! Hard part, is one of these rooms was my craft and sewing room. So a new plan must emerge! It'll be fine, I'll work it out:))
We are also getting a new TV for this bedroom. A big one that we are mounting on the wall, it is going to be really cool. We also need a new bed. I need to get a new mattress too. One for my horrible back!. If anyone knows anything about those air mattresses or the foam ones I would love to know what you think. I have had my back fused, and it did not fix whatever else is wrong. I have a bone disease that is eating my spine, so I can barely walk anymore, my husband has also had 2 back surgeries from injuries from his old job. We are falling apart!!
Never the less God is good and still in control! And we are very blessed!! In a few weeks after this room is finished I want to do something special for all of my friends. You will like it:))
Thank you to all of my sweet followers that come by to say Hi even when I don't put anything up new. You guys are so great, and I truly love each of you. Hugs, for now Pam

- Post your favorite project that you've done in your blog post WITH ONE thing you are grateful for!
- Copy and paste the link up code into your blog post so the Inlinkz will show up on your blog

Sail Away!
This is a little shaped card I made using my E2 and the card feature on Just a Note. A cart. that comes preloaded on the machine. It was pretty simple to do. I will put it in a few challenges that I will list under the pictures.
I have not been doing much crafting the last week or so. We are remodeling our house so I have not been able to do much else. This is a pretty major remodel , so I will probably only post once a week for awhile. I will try to stop by some of my loyal followers, but if I am MIA for a bit this is why.
Here is the card, I hope you like it. Hugs, Pam

A Birthday card for a Girlfriend
I made this birthday card for one of my really close friends. She is a really fun person. She 's always got a smile, and she would do anything for anyone. We have been friends for more than 30years, and will be for 30 more:)) I used a MS butterfly punch, and some spellbinders for the circles behind the Emerson stamp. The strip of paper under the image is an EK Success punch.
I want to say thank you to all my followers, you guys keep me going when my health interferes with me doing what I want to do. So a huge Thank You:)) And big hugs, Pam
I'll list the challenges I will enter below.
