Got a Bug?

Today my daughter called and told me my granddaughter has pink eye!  How she got it no one seems to know. Probably from school, but who knows. She went to the DR. this morning so she is being treated. It still kinda freaks me out because of Kyce and Reece getting it too.  Or Jacquie God forbid, since she is a Kindergarten teacher with 50 kiddos.

Well I put a really quick and simple card together to give Kohlbee. Thought I would share it with you guys. She is a bug person. Since she has been very little, like 2 or 3 she loves bugs. She has books, ant farms, cages, all kinds of stuff to catch bugs so she can "study" them.  She will like this card, and not just because her Nanny made it.

If you think of her and her siblings, please say a little prayer of healing for her and protection for them.

Here's the card, I hope you like it.    Hugs, to all of you, and have a wonderful week-end.   Your Blend, Pam

  1. Hi Pam!
Well this as as cute as a bug in a rug! (lol..had to go there). This will make her smile because her Nanny made it and because it is so darling. Poor thing, pink eye is no fun. I will keep you all in my prayers Pam. My boys use to think you caught pink eye if you slept on a pillow someone, ummm how do I say this, "tooted" on. (I know, boys!) I wondered why they were always doing that on each others pillows. Funny thing, they never had pink eye but I did. OMG! I just figured out what they must have thought! (ick ick ick...)

How exciting about little Kyce, two teeth now! I'm so glad to hear he isn't having too hard of a time with teething. Please give him a nice hug from me, actually, give them all hugs! Not hard to do I'm sure!

    {{and here's a hug for you}}
    Take care!

  2. Awww, poor thing :( I don't think I've ever had pink eye, but then I had so many allergies growing up, my eyes were always watering (still are, even after years of shots!!) The card you made for her is so absolutely adorable!! I love the papers and the sweet bug!! And how cute is the sentiment??!! She will love this!! I am her opposite...I see a bug and I run screaming ;)

I will pray that the pink eye clears up very soon and that no one else in the family gets it. I hope and pray that you are doing well and feeling well my sweet friend!! Have a wonderful week and great big hugs!!

  3. Such a cute card- love the fold and pretty papers!! Sorry to hear about the pink eye. My girls both had it when they were young (of course I ended up with it too!), but it cleared up in no time. Saying a prayer for them! :)Amy

  4. Aaaaw, your card is just adorable pam! That's too bad that she has pink eye-poor little thing. I will say a prayer that she heals fast and it doesn't spread to the others. That's no fun:( Take care and thanks for sharing your sweet bug card!
    Have a great evening!

  5. My sweet friend, I have prayed and will continue to pray for healing and protection! Poor little sweetie. I love that you made her a card... I know it's not often easy for you, so that makes this even more beautiful. I love the sparkly papers, the adorable image, and the mats you made for the sentiment/message. Z-Folds are fun and yours is wonderful. I also adore the bright, cheery colors! So perfect for the little one. :o) You are such a blessing, Pam. I am truly thankful to know you. God loves you so much and is at work right now in every area of your life. :) God Bless You!

  10. Oh Pam this is adorable. I was a first grade teacher and sometime the children got Pink eye in the spring just from the wind and pollen. She will get better. Just encourage lots of hand washing. It really isn't any fun.
It is so sweet of you to make her a card.
I want to thank you for your sweet comment about my Max. You really touched my heart. Hugs, Linda

  15. Hi Pam!
Just thought I'd stop in and see how you are doing. Is the pink eye situation all better now? I hope you all avoided catching it. I had to laugh at what you said on my blog about being a young chicka. Having a spine my doctor says is that of an 80 year old farmer, well, I don't feel very young at all! But, it could be worse I suppose. (yea right). lol! Any way, I did get a kick out of it. Hope you have a great weekend my friend!

  16. My dearest friend, I came here as quickly as I could today... I had my little treat scheduled since I didn't know when I could get here, but nothing was going to stop me from visiting you! I am so sorry about your precious furbaby... it is a heartache only understood by those who dearly love their animals, and I am one. I am sending up extra prayers of peace and comfort to help you through this difficult time. God and I love you with all of our hearts and we want nothing more than to know you're smiling and joyous. I am always here if you need me and I am truly thankful for the timing of my post. Let that serve as another reminder of how much He loves you. :o) Lots of sparkly love coming your way, my sweet friend.

    Hugs and blessings!
